Week of April 21, 2023- The Striped Bass are here!

This is a Long Island bays and Long Island Sound fishing report*. As the water temps start climbing closer and closer to 50 degrees, striped bass are starting to come into Southern Connecticut in numbers as well as the bays of long island. In the coming weeks you can expect droves of fish to come into our waters as the spring migration begins! Stripers are typically suspended in the water column so try and stay away from topwater lures but rather use jigs, swimbaits, and bait. Another very effective method of landing a striped bass is by trolling mojos, tubes, and spoons. Good luck out there and if you cant get on the fish...Book a trip!
