Inshore:
Long Island, NY: Have a day most can only dream of chasing Striped Bass, Bluefish, Fluke, Weakfish and Seabass with topwater lures, soft plastics, jigs, and live bait. Best times to book are early May-early July (Early/Mid June is the best time for trophy striped bass), then we take a break to chase after the pelagic fish in our offshore waters but we don't mind sneaking a few inshore trips in (check our availability or call 631-621-8981...after all, we do need Bluefish for bait, the Fluke/Seabass are still biting good and the Striped Bass aren't too hard to find. We start up topwater again in August - October for unbelievable topwater fishing, as we target False Albacore, Striped Bass, Bluefish with light tackle. We also love fishing for Blackfish!
Connecticut: Have a chance at catching some of the worlds biggest Striped Bass. In fact, the world record was caught in the waters we fish in 2011, by Gregory Myerson. In the spring and early summer, the Long Island Sound comes to life as the mature striped bass migrate in incredible numbers from the Hudson River and the Atlantic, through New York City, and into the Long Island Sound as they continue their migration north. Best time to book is late May-late June. We start running trips again in late September until the end of October where we find large schools of bunker and amazing blitzes of Striped Bass/Bluefish in just inches of water.
Offshore:
Ready for the fight of your life? You better be, these pelagic species don't play around! An all day action packed adventure that will bring you anywhere from 8 to 100 miles offshore. Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, are just some of the species you can look forward to targeting. Prime dates are Early July-October. We run trips out of Long Island and Rhode Island.
*Shark and Offshore Fluke trips are usually not very far offshore.
A deposit of $150 is required after a trip date is set. The rest of the payment can be paid before/after the trip with card/cash/venmo/zelle
